National Broadband Plan:

With the release of the National Broadband Plan on March 17, 2010, Broadband Infrastructures will soon dedicate a great deal of space, on this web site, to that publication's goals. We begin this proces by detailing the plan's Year 2020 Goals and the manner in which the goverment can help improve the broadband ecosystem (see "NATIONAL BROADBAND" tab/page). A more detailed analysis of each goal will be provided on dedicated pages (ie: "NBP - GOAL 1") as we transition to our new format.

Company Mission:

Broadband Infrastructures was created to help accelerate the deployment of broadband technology and to help remove those impediments created by needless complication. Although we've been around since 2006, we have a renewed focus, thanks to the release of the National Broadband Plan. The organization of "all things broadband" into one document has provided a framework for the advancement of widely held goals. The FCC has lent some credibility to our mission simply by agreeing with it. There will be roadblocks, and even some valid disagreement, but the end result should be the effective use of a technolgy that can benefit society in ways that even we hadn't thought of, prior to the release of the plan.
